External Verifier - SVQ Road Haulage
Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for Qualifications Scotland SVQs in Road Haulage (VG 79).Applicants will be expected to have relevant experience and knowledge of the courses to be verified and have knowledge and understanding of the sector. In addition, applicants must be currently delivering or have recently delivered these courses or closely related courses. An External Verifier is responsible for external verification and qualification approval activities under the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by us. The prime role is to participate in verification of qualifications in the subject area to ensure that national standards are maintained. Visiting Verifier - Electronics: National 5
We are recruiting Visiting Verifiers for National 5 Electronics, who will undertake duties starting in March 2027.A Visiting Verifier is responsible for supporting the Principal Verifier in maintaining national standards. The primary role is to support and quality assure the work of our centres, to ensure that national standards are being consistently applied and maintained.Successful applicants will be required to attend a one day mandatory training event in March 2027. This will be in own time at a weekend. Centre visits will be carried out after training has been successfully completed. Up to five days release and or own time will be required to undertake visits. Release and or own time fees will be paid as well as travel expenses.All successfully completed applications will be auto acknowledged.
