Item Writer/Item Checker - Gàidhlig: National 5
We are recruiting an Item Writer/Item Checker to join the National 5 Gàidhlig team. The Item Writer and Item Checker role profiles provide details of the contract specification, selection criteria and key performance measures which give full details of the roles. The National 5 Gàidhlig team carry out both roles.Currency in delivering National 5 Gàidhlig is required, as is experience of preparing question paper assessments within your own centre at this level. A good current marking record is essential. Applicants will be required to complete writing in own time with a two day checking meeting in November and release may be required. Fees will be paid for writing based on scope of items and fees and or release paid for attendance at item checking meeting.Support for both roles will be provided. External Verifier - PDA Counselling: Children & Young People
Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for Qualifications Scotland Counselling PDA awards and units (VG 714).We are seeking applications from BACP registered counselling practitioners with experience in working with children and young people aged 10 to 18 and who are familiar with our mode of educational delivery. An External Verifier is responsible for external verification and qualification approval activities under the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by us. External Verifier - SVQ Road Haulage
Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for Qualifications Scotland SVQs in Road Haulage (VG 79).Applicants will be expected to have relevant experience and knowledge of the courses to be verified and have knowledge and understanding of the sector. In addition, applicants must be currently delivering or have recently delivered these courses or closely related courses. An External Verifier is responsible for external verification and qualification approval activities under the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by us. The prime role is to participate in verification of qualifications in the subject area to ensure that national standards are maintained.
