Applications are invited for the post of Senior Team Leader in National 5 Modern Studies, for the 2026 examination diet. A Senior Team Leader is responsible for supporting the Principal Assessor and Depute Principal Assessor and managing the Team Leaders to ensure that national standards are being consistently applied and maintained. Applicants must currently be involved in the delivery and assessment of National 5 Modern Studies and have experience in other key appointee roles demonstrating competence in assessing to the national standard. Further details on the requirements of the Senior Team Leader role are available which contain the contract specification, selection criteria and key performance measures. The Senior Team Leader will require up to 3 days release and will also be required to undertake duties in their own time (evenings/weekends) to fulfil the duties of this post.   The Senior Team Leader will be required on the following dates to attend procedural meetings in 2026:Standardisation: Saturday 23 - Tuesday 26 May Markers meeting: Friday 29 May. Own time will also be required to support a team of Team Leaders during marking.Results Services: Friday 26 - Sunday 28 JuneA responsibility fee and daily rates are paid for own time duties as well as release compensation. Please note, you may be unable to complete an application form using a mobile device.
