Assessment Reviewer - History: Advanced Higher

We are currently seeking applications for an Assessment Reviewer for the Advanced Higher History team. Applicants must currently be involved in the delivery and assessment of AH History.

An Assessment Reviewer is responsible for reviewing the external assessment and supporting marking instructions under the direction of the Principal Assessor. This work must be undertaken within the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by us maintaining the security of the assessment materials at all times.

The primary role is to review and prepare feedback on the external assessment and marking instructions to ensure subject specific integrity and the consistent application of national standards. Full details of the role can be found here.

This role will involve communicating and discussing this feedback during the Assessment Review meeting which will take place late August/early September 2025. One day of release may be required.

Fees and expenses will be paid for meeting attendance and duties undertaken.
