Senior External Verifier - HN/PDA/SVQ Marketing, Sales & Advertising
Applications are invited for the post of Senior External Verifier for SQA's suite of HN/PDA/SVQ Marketing, Sales & Advertising qualifications and units (VG399).
The Senior External Verifier is responsible for external verification and qualification approval activities under the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by us. The prime role is to manage the team of External Verifiers in the delivery of verification procedures for qualifications in their portfolio to ensure that standards are maintained. The Senior External Verifier will lead, coach, monitor and support their team.
Applicants will be expected to have relevant experience and knowledge of the courses and units to be verified and have knowledge and understanding of current practices. Applicants must have experience of working with us as an External Verifier.
Applicants must hold or be prepared to work towards the relevant External Verifier Learning & Development unit as this is a requirement of the role.
Job Description
Should an applicant require release from their employer, (Scottish Colleges only) they should discuss this before making an application as approximately 5 days of release is anticipated in the annual contract period. Additional time in applicants' own time will also be required to fulfil the duties of this post.
The successful applicant will receive support and training for the role.
