Team Leader - History: Higher Scottish History QP 2
We are inviting applications for the Team Leader role in Higher History: Scottish History QP2.
The Team Leader will support the Principal Assessor whilst leading a team of Markers. The primary role is to manage Markers to ensure that national standards are being consistently applied and maintained. The contract specification, selection criteria and key performance measures for the Team Leader role provides further information.
The successful applicant must have current presentation experience of the Scottish History QP2 component and will have a sound track record in marking Higher History, Scottish History QP2.
The Team Leader will be required on the following dates:
- Standardisation (non-core): Monday 26 May 2025
- Markers meeting: Tuesday 3 June 2025
- Marker period: Tuesday 3 - Tuesday 17 June 2025. Own time will also be required to support a team of markers during marking (marking method is MFI)
Up to 1 day release and own time will be required. Release and own time fees will be paid. A responsibility fee will be calculated on the number of markers assigned to you at the start of live marking period. Marking fees for scripts marked also apply.
