Visiting Assessor - Drama: National 5

We are now recruiting Visiting Assessors in N5 Drama and applications from new VAs who would like to join the N5 team for 2026 are invited.

A Visiting Assessor visits centres to assess candidate performance against national standards, in accordance with SQA policy and instructions. The prime role is to ensure consistent application of national standards when assessing candidate performance.

The VA role profile provides details of the contract specification, selection criteria and key performance measures. Please make reference to this information in your application.

Successful applicants will be required to attend a training meeting on Thursday 5 February 2026. Centre visits will take place between 2 March - 24 April 2026. Up to 5 days of release will be required and release fees are paid as well as own time fees and expenses. 

All successfully completed applications will be auto acknowledged.
